Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the pliologik.com website ("Site"), operated by Pliologik LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Pliologik", "we", "us"). The Pliologik iPhone apps (Précis, Plurae) are governed by their own end user license agreements and Apple's Standard EULA, not by these Site terms.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is an informational website about Pliologik LLC and the products we publish. You may view, link to, and quote brief portions of the Site for non-commercial purposes provided you attribute the source. You may not (a) attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, security, or availability; (b) scrape or systematically extract content for commercial reuse; (c) use the Site in a way that violates applicable law.
2. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, graphics, layout, and the names "Pliologik", "Précis", and "Plurae", are owned by Pliologik LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. No license to any trademark is granted by your use of the Site.
3. No warranty
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Pliologik does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pliologik will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Pliologik's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
5. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. Pliologik does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
